Effective 1 May 2026, Stephanie Striegler, PhD, will be joining the management board at Freiburg-based pharmaceutical company Dr. Falk Pharma GmbH. She will be responsible for the business unit Technical Operations, which also includes the subsidiary Losan Pharma GmbH with its sites in Neuenburg am Rhein and Eschbach in Baden-Württemberg in southern Germany. In the future she will be overseeing and steering the family-owned company together with Philipp Argast, Managing Director Finance & Administration, Kai Pinkernell, M.D., Managing Director Science & Innovation, and Torben Zachmann, Managing Director Commercial.

After completing her pharmacy degree and graduating with a PhD in biotechnology, Stephanie Striegler embarked on her professional career as a Process and Technology Export directly on the production shopfloor. As her career progressed, she assumed increasing responsibility for production and quality assurance in the manufacture of various medicinal products across all technology platforms at a total of five different production sites – eventually assuming the role of General Manager and Site Head at various international pharmaceutical companies of different sizes. She is an expert in a range of manufacturing processes for small and large molecule drugs and has also worked in Switzerland as well as Germany.

The specialist in digestive and metabolic medicine manufactures its high-quality drugs for indications in gastroenterology and hepatology in various dosage forms in Europe. “The bulk of production takes place at our subsidiary Losan Pharma, where we are currently also investing in new production and logistics buildings at the Eschbach site. We are very pleased to welcome Stephanie Striegler, as she brings extensive experience in production and supply chain management to our company”, emphasises Martin Falk, PhD, company shareholder of Dr. Falk Pharma.

Stephanie Striegler will be taking over responsibility for the business unit Technical Operations from Andreas Rascher, PhD, who passed away unexpectedly last autumn.
